Cookies differentiate between ‘session cookies’ and ‘persistent cookies’: the first ones, once downloaded, are then cancelled when the browser is closed, while the latter are stored on the visitor’s/user’s hard disk until their expiration. ‘First party cookies’ are readable only by the domain creating them, ‘third party cookies’ are created and readable by domains external to this website.

No personal data of the users is acquired by this website. First party cookies are not used for the transmission of personal information and persistent cookies are not used for tracking users. Session cookies are only used for the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) required for secure, efficient website exploration. Session cookies used on this website avoid the need to use other data processing techniques which could potentially reduce the confidentiality of the users and do not enable personal identification data of the user to be acquired.

Third party cookies are created to generate usage statistics, e.g. through Google Analytics. Data generated by this cookie are stored at Google Inc.
